The Energy Source and Use of it in Boats
Energy is one of the most limited facility on board. Energy on the boats is provided by batteries when the engine is not running. There are two types of batteries: the group that starts the engine and the service group. The battery pack that starts the engine is usually full. However, as the service group meets all the energy requirements of the vessel, these batteries are quickly discharged, so they must be charged every 6 or 8 hours. Therefore, energy should be saved and should not be consumed unnecessarily.
