You can skipper a rented or your own vessel that is up to 24 meters or has a capacity of less than 12 passengers with a Certificate of Competence For Operators of Pleasure Craft.<\/p>\n

Conditions of Operators of Pleasure Craft Competence<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Article 5- Those who apply to become an operator of pleasure craft:<\/p>\n

a) to be at least 14 years old (the consent of the parents of those under 18 years of age is needed),<\/p>\n

b) to be at least a primary school\u00a0 graduate,<\/p>\n

c) Not being convicted of child abduction and \/ or trafficking in criminal records;<\/p>\n

d) To certify that it has the health conditions specified in Article 24 of this Regulation,<\/p>\n

e) To be entitled to receive amateur maritime certificate provided that the amateur sailor’s exam is stipulated by the administration.<\/p>\n

Required documents<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

  1. passport photo.<\/li>\n
  2. Copy of Driver’s License.<\/li>\n
  3. For those that don’t own a driver’s licence, a Health Report to be taken from public \/ private health institutions<\/li>\n
  4. A receipt of document’s fee.A copy of the ID card.<\/li>\n
